ADAM GORDON, ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Adam was appointed to Maples in June 2011 as the associate pastor. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, where he majored in religion (2004). After college, Adam studied at Saint Paul School of Theology, a United Methodist seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, where he received his Master of Divinity degree (2008). Adam was ordained as an Elder in The United Methodist Church at the 2011 Mississippi Annual Conference. Before coming to Mississippi where he has served churches in Booneville and now Olive Branch, Adam served churches in Prairie Village, Kansas and North Kansas City, Missouri.
Adam is one-half of a clergy couple. His wife (and seminary sweetheart), Amanda, also serves as the pastor of a United Methodist congregation in Desoto County. When he has free time, Adam loves reading, camping, listening to and creating music, watching college and professional football, professional baseball, and spending time with Amanda.
