Next Meeting February 22

Come to H.I.M. (hands in missions) meets monthly on Wednesday nights in room 131. Children in first grade through fifth grade who attend Maples Praise meet from 6:10 - 6:30, and children ages four years through fifth grade who do not attend Maples Praise meet from 6:30 - 6:50. Wacky Wednesday will be open for children ages four years through fifth grade at 6:50. Come to H.I.M. will meet on Wednesday, February 22nd in room 131 to make treat bags for the Maples Agape Sunday school class to give to children at the Ronald McDonald House. If you have any questions, please contact Angie Oswalt at angie@mapleschurch.org. Parents, please plan to sign your child in and out.

United Methodist Women

Mission Circle meets at the church on February 21 at 11:00 a.m. in Wesley Hall. The February emphasis for Methodist Auxiliary is small toys to be given to children going to surgery. The circle always accepts donations for the gift shop such as jewelry and small packages of toiletries. The program will be presented by Jill Young; the devotional by Jeanenne Massey. Hostesses Margaret Ridley and Barbara Watson will provide chips, dessert and beverages. Members are reminded to bring a sandwich for lunch and to invite a friend.

Unity Circle will meet again on Tuesday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Nyla Osborn. Please notice that this meeting date is a week earlier than usual due to Spring Break.

Agape Class To Serve at Ronald McDonald House
March 1

The Agape Sunday School class will be serving dinner to the families at the Ronald McDonald House on Thursday evening, March 1st. The Ronald McDonald House is "home away from home" for families that have a child being treated at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Our class will be cooking Mexican food for about 150 people. We are asking for donations to fund our dinner. If you feel like giving for a good cause please drop donations off in our RMH box on the Information Desk! These families don't need to stress over making dinner when their child is fighting for a cure! On behalf of the families that stay there, thank you so very much!

Also.....we welcome anyone looking for a Sunday School home-feel free to stop in and see what our Agape class is all about! We meet every Sunday at 10:00 in Room 163!

Please join the Children's Committee for an afternoon of bowling at Strike Zone in Southaven, MS from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4. The cost is $8.50 per bowler (please bring cash!). Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. A sign up sheet is located at the Information Desk.
